A conglomerate is a rock that forms of many different sized grains. A sandstone in a rock that forms of only sand-sized grains of minerals r rock fragments and a shale a made up of fine particles and forms in a more specific locations than the previous two, such as rivers, deltas, and ancient shallow seas.
