well that is a funny question as of now the manga is still going and Miroku is slowly dying by poison in his body and Sango still suffers 4 her brother who now holds a pure shard placed by Kikyou who by the way offically died in the manga so basically i have a feeling Miroku will not get married with Sango as we all hope but i could be wrong Naraku can still be destroyed b4 Miroku dies by the poison or wind tunnel..oh by the way the anime was not completed we could either get an OVA (i hope not) or they will continue the anime as soon as one of the producers of Inu Yasha makes the decison to continue because of illness so i read in a blog

hi..did you no they may be makeing more inuyasha because they did not whant the anime to cauch up to the manga here i copyed this from the pagie...Yes, according to Sunrise producer Machihiko Suwa's interview on Anime Scramble on Aug. 20, there likely will be more Inuyasha projects, but nothing further has been said. Websunday has also hinted that there will still be Inuyasha anime on the horizon, but again, no indication as to what direction it will take.
