Ctrl-Alt-Delete, Windows task manager will appear, then click on Shut Down, Select Hibernate OR go to Control Panel, then Performance and Maintenance then Power Options. Select Hibernate tab, Enable Hibernation. Then Start, Turn Off Computer, Select Hibernate (This dosen't work on all computers, like mine.)

Turn on your computer, click on help and type in Hibernate or hibernation and you will get the step by step instructions you need to do it. However, I personally do not recommend it!

You decide!
