I'm Doing a Report On A Few Careers I Am Interested In... [[Carpentry, CSI, Police Officer, Computer Technician; ect.]] Do You Know Any Sites With Information About Different Carrers? Or Any of These? Thank You So Very Much!!

As a career teacher I've recommended many different websites for a general overview of various careers, but what I've found from the information that students have responded back to me with is that they learn more from various industry sites than from the general career websites. Therefore my recommendation is to enter the specific career your interested in such as "carpentry" and then find out the various "things" carpenters do.

In terms of CSI careers check out the website All About Forensic Science, it has a couple of pages dedicated to CSI and a very useful forensic science careers page.

Enter into search either of these titles: Occupational outlook Handbook and Dictionary of Occupational Titles. At one time free on-line to look at, but don't know for sure currant status. Looked quickly and you don't need anything to get into the door, but again not sure how far you can go. Another possible site would be employment site run by your state. Shouldn't this be in the pets section? Anywho I know you need a lot of schooling. Probably college for one - two years..I too wanted to be a vet tech.. but it isnt the career for me. Umm cant remember much but I know you can work in the zoos aquariums and veterinary hospitals and clinics. You don't make that much doing this but the job itself is very rewarding. Hopes this helps.

NYC actually hires these. go the the NYC official site and look for work for NYC areas. There should be a job description.
