i've got a bunch of great ideas, had a bunch of great ideas, that i could of used for YA... but my brain seems rather stumped right now.

I agree with the above.

In my experience, writer's block is symptomatic of something wrong in a plot, something wrong with a character, or a poor decision made somewhere along the line.

Get away from it for a while. Get at least six hours of sleep a night, and sooner or later you'll get that lovely light bulb moment.

Read your favorite authors. I dog ear the bottom of pages that have soehow inspired me, and when I need to write, but am at a loss, I flip back through those dog eared pages. I enjoy Charles Frazier and John Irving for their profundity. C.S. Lewis has also been a source of inspiration for me.

I know how you feel! Try my technique - Write down your idea immediately! Later, after you've totally forgotten you even wrote down your wisdom in the first place, you'll re-discover the scrap of paper. You'll either pat yourself on the back for being the wonderful genius you are, or you'll wonder what the hell you were thinking.

It's not writers block, just tiredness.

Write the basic ideas down now and proceed with them tomorrow.

You need a distraction, cold be a long walk or a weekend getaway. Something along the way might stimulate your imagination. Good luck !

I usually listen to music that inspires me, or watch movies that get me thinking of a situation that could happen with me and someone I know, or throwing myself into a movie.

go to the stanley hotel in estes park colorado where stephen king stayed and wrote the shining in that hotel u need to get away for those energy juices to flow it comes to you then the creativity.. u need that.

what i do it just get away from it. relax, take a shower, then start thinking about it.
