ya so i am trying to find out which cards my computer can handle like agp pic pic express, that kind of stuff but i dont knoiw my make or model and in turn i cant look it up.... any one know howw to do this? its prolly pretty simple but id appreciate it thanks

If it is a well known brand, you should find it in a sticker at the back.

If it is a clone or custombuilt, then there is no model number. You may have to get a screwdriver to open the casing so that you could take a look at the motherboard. You might need a flashlight so that you may be able to read the make and model of the motherboard. You might also find some markings on the videocard slot indicating whether it is AGP or PCI Express.

If you are not fond of screwdrivers, download and install Everest from here:

http://www.lavalys.com/

You will know almost everything in your computer w/out opening it up until you need to plug in that new videocard.

Just go to BIOS. During startup you should see a command that says "press Del" or something. Press Del during startup and you'll be directed to BIOS where information of the computer's motherboard, temperature, and cards are displayed.

Yes, go to download.com and download a file called Belarc, search it on the website, and then run it on ur computer. It will give u all the details of ur computer that u need

right click on my computer and select properties. that should tell you everything you need to know.
