Well if you lose weight it might be a little harder to find jeans at all. I suggest you get a size small belt. It's MUCH better!!

You are small enough and weight is not the issue. The issue is finding jeans that fit. You might want to try jeans that are made for curvier figures like PZI, rocawear, dereon. I know specifically that these jeans will fit women with wider hips and smaller waistlines.
An even better idea just have the waist adjusted. Find yourself a good tailor and you will never notice that the jeans have been altered. That is what I do all the time, and what I wind up having done to most of my pants. They never fit in the waist.

Jeans are like the only thing in the world that will go from a size 10 (not that I actually wear one that big, I'm either a size 2 or a 1 like you) to like a size 3 in the washer! Trust me, it happens to everyone with a pair of jeans! If they are new, try putting it in the washer and see what happens. If your pair of jeans has beads, flowers, ext. or anything that'll fall off in the washer, put them in one of those white bags with those holes in them. No, its not really for that kinda stuff but it works with shirts and pants that you do not wanna throw out!
If that isn't the problem, I'd suggest shopping at a different store for a pair. Some stores go by different sizes but that rarely is the problem! Try going with denim capris. Most of them feel tighter than average jeans.
And don't try to lose weight. It's no big, it happens to all of us sometime in life, and sooner of later, we're struck by the most obvious answer! It's a fact of life!
Good Luck! =)

Well, you could try to make healthier choices than going on a diet just to fit into jeans. Like instead of a chocolate bar get a granola bar, or instead of soda get water, stuff like that. It will be better for yourself and you will lose alittle weight in some time! Also, not all size 2's are the same. Shop around a bit to see which jeans fit you best. Good luck!
(also, check out this site http://www.truejeans.com/jeans/profile/registration, you type in your measurements and it tells you which jean brand fit you best)

Oh my god, no. Get the bigger ones and spend ten bucks to get them tailored. You will end up with a better fit if you just get the bigger ones tailored than if you try to shrink down into the smaller ones.
(Not only is it a little bit mentally unhealthy to lose weight for one pair of jeans, think about this: if you drop a few pounds, none of the rest of your clothes will fit.)

dont try to lose weight, it would be very hard for you cuz you are already skinny, so why kill yourself just for one pair of jeans? i would get the size 2 tailored.

no you are fine. i wish i had your measurements. buy the size you need, a tailor can fix the sagging butt and crotch are in your pants.
