Try checking the memory requirement of the game against your own PC. Does your computer have enough memory?
Are you on Broadband? If not, a dial up may be far too slow for the game.
Also, remember to shut down any other application you may be running before you start the game.
Clear disk space by getting rid of old downloads and files you don't use any more, wiping clean your internet history, and general tidying up duties like defragmenting.
This should sort the trouble out one way or another...

Try this:
1. If you color setting is 32bit, step down to 16bit. Just right click on the desktop then click properties, click settings. Adjust under color quality.
2. If you computer is using integrated graphics, increase its memory allocation, usually in BIOS. You might not be able to do this if your RAM is limited in the first place. Buy another memory module to increase RAM so you will have more to share for videoram.
Hope this helps.

what type of internet connection do you have?
and how much RAM do you have?
to see RAM go to start, run, and type in dxdiag
on the first tab it should tell you RAM
If it's below 512, or if it's 256MB, then it's too small, you need at least 1GB of RAM nowadays

Are these videos from DVDs or from the internet? If from the internet then your isp connection is too slow.
