How do you wish? Do you have any traditions? Like writing a note and hide it and you forget about it and then months/years later you find it and see if it happened? or like go to a wish tree and have a piece of cloth and hang it. Then wish whatever you want..
any examples?

When I met this girl(now my girlfriend of over a year), I used to wish on every shooting star that someday she would be mine, I didn't care how long I had to wait or how much I had to go through. After about 20 stars, and a month or so, she was mine. =] - ever since then I've used shooting stars to my advantage ;)

I usually wish on the brightest star in the sky !
Over the Xmas holidays I was in the Caribbean and I waded into the water on Xmas Eve at around midnight and made a
wish for a friend. (It actually worked for her)

i do a traditional "wish on a coin" and "wish on a star" thing. also, at church on new year's, we write down things (wants and goals) we want to happen within the new year and hold on to the list until the next year. also, i just sit and say..."man i wish..."

I use to love wishing as a child then you learn no one takes notice so now I just wish people were kinder :)

i sometimes wish on stars other wise i just think the wish and then forget about it never to think of most of my wishes again.

I wish on shooting stars -- which I don't see very often.
And, when I blow out the candles on my birthday cake, I always make a wish.

i say it to myself in my head. and then i rub the buddha belly on my necklace. or i have those wish bracelets. where you make a wish on it and when it falls off ur wish comes true.

Oh, when I was little I wanted 3 things:
long fingernail, long hair, and a brunette boy...
I grew up, had long fingernails; realized they weren't practical and trimmed them.
Grew my hair long; realized it was alot of work.
Still working on the brunette guy.
