First of all, education is usually the job of the states, and not of the federal government, so I don't think the U.S. government should be the one to do this. The advantage to year-round schooling is that you can provide education to more students with fewer resources. The disadvantages are obvious to anyone who has several children in school on different vacation schedules. Many of my friends face constant struggles with childcare because their kids have these odd vacations at different times when there are no services available to care for them.

We learn for the time of the 12 months, and take day off while that's mandatory, or the family members comes to a decision that we are going to plot a holiday. that's terrific for toddlers/youthful adults to learn from the beginning up that the real international maintains to function all 12 months long, and does no longer enable us to take 3 months off for the time of the summer season time, till you're independently wealthy, or take unpaid bypass away. the U. S. is the only united states I extremely have ever lived in that has this variety of faculty 12 months set up, and that's a procedures previous to assert the least. Having a fall, Christmas, spring, and short summer season destroy of approximately 5 to 6 weeks, is extra beneficial than adequate, and lots extra beneficial for the pupils besides.

I think that year round schooling is good... I did elementary and Jr. high in year round schools and I think it works...but not the way they did it when I was in jr.high...I think if they have like 3 weeks off every 12 weeks or something, like that but I know when I was in Jr. high it was 6 weeks every 12 weeks.... it was really stupid

screw them. they took out the vending machines, they charge $5 for a sufficiently large, unhealthy lunch, made our summer last less than 2 months, (at my school) and now they want to make us go through the whole year? no. that month and a half is all the time i have left of teachers not cramming schoolwork up my bunghole, and if they try to take that, I'm dropping out.
