How to wire a 2001 Kawasaki klr250 with no wiring harness, to find out if it runs?

The motorcycle was stollen, then recovered stripped of parts & wiring harness.

If coils, ignition, etc is there, use jumper cables and a battery, ground to the frame and the negative battery terminal, (or ground side of coil), and jumper positive battery terminal to positive side of coil.

You need an ignition coil,CDI unit and pickup down at the crankshaft.
