The electric window on my car doesn't work.

I've removed the door pannel for a look, and there isn't anything obviously wrong.

The fuses are all fine.

What else could it be?
I don't want to invest in a new motor for it until I've checked everything else first.

You do need a test light and with window switch depressed in down position test for voltage on 1 wire and ground on the other wire. When you test in the up position the voltage and ground should reverse. If this shows good, then the motor is bad.If not the switch or another elect. problem is present

The simpler things first. The switch goes often on some types of cars. It may be a loose connection between the motor and/or switch. Since you've check the motor out, I assume that you made sure that the connections are secure.

you should still have some warranty left on that one,any body shop can do this and most repair shops can fix it,you might want try the switch for it they do go bad on those and cause just one window not to work ,if that's not it any repair shop can handle a window repair, good luck.

you didn't say if it's just 1 window or all of them but if it's just 1 window more than likely the motor is shot, if you don't hear any clicking when you hit the switch it's time to buy a new motor.

It's the motor or the switch. I bet it's the motor.
