like when u leave high school and go to college. when u graduate college, what is the degree u earn?

If you go to a 2-year community college, you can get an Associate's degree. If you go to a 4-year college or university, the first degree is called a Bachelor's Degree. It might be a Bachelor of Arts (BA), or a Bachelor of Science (BS) or a BBA, depending upon what you studied.

Associate Degree- 2 year degree

Bachelors- 4 years (if u have a associates degrees, a bachelors will only take 2 years)

Masters- 2-3 years

Phd- 2-3 years

MD- 8 plus years

It depends some people get an Associate Degree (more like a glorified certification)usually a 2 year program.
Then there's a Bachelor's
Then there's a Master's
Then there's a Ph. D.
