Here are the lines::

1. It all started when
2. I had been here before
3. Nothing happened. Time stood still at that exact moment.
4. The time had come. I had to do it now before I backed out.. again.
5. I walked into the room and everyone started staring.

The story I'm trying to write should be somewhere around 5-7 pages long, so it's no novel. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

The time had come. I had to do it now before I backed out.. again. I told her I loved her and nothing happened. Time stood still at that exact moment. Ok, maybe it didn't exactly stand still but it sure seemed like an eternity until she started laughing in my face! This is the story of how I killed my girlfriend.

Go for the drama! Don't forget the disclaimer 'no actual girlfriends were harmed in the creation of this story'.

I will do my best:

1) this makes me think you have gotten into trouble somehow and you are now sitting in detention or the principal's office.
2) This makes me think of some weird deja vu thing. Or maybe going somewhere you went as a child and are now going as someone older.
3) This makes me think about maybe a first kiss. If that's too corny, I also think you've done something that's scary to you or you're waiting to be judged on something (whether it's a swim meet or a speech in class) Or you could make it all sci fi where you could be doing anything and time actually stops.
4) This makes me think you're doing something in front of a large group of people. Like performing in a talent show. Or maybe someone dared you to do something.
5) I also get a speech vibe from this one. Maybe not. Maybe you mismatched your clothes or you just got your wisdom teeth out.
Any help? Man, now I really want to write some of these!

for number 4, you can do something involving sports or some kind of competition.. maybe similar to the movie Stick It.

like...

The time had come. I had to do it now before I backed out.. again. I had to represent the West LA Wildcats as a mathlete competitor, even though i knew my reputation would be completely destroyed.

you could write a mystery or something like that and have it be from an I perspective... and the 'narrator' could be taken captive and taken somewhere and they could say something about the familiar scent of the room or something and then end with I had been here before.

Make it into a dream like story.....
It all started when ....i lay awake on my bed..blah blah blah..
slowly i drifted to sleep...It felt like i had been here before..blah blah blah...
I tried to make sense of this, wake up but nothing happened. time stood still at that exact moment...blah blah blah...
I knew i had to wake up, come out of this nightmare ... i had to do it now before i backed out, fell back into this nightmare..blah blah blah...
The i realised this was no dream.. i walked into the room and everyone started staring.....

I had been here before. The room was still cold and the shackles on my legs carried the same weight. Prison is hell.

#1. It all started when....my friend and I went sailing on his catamarran. It overturned in shark infested waters, but we managed to swim our way to a deserted island......
There. You can have a lot of stories to tell of your harrowing adventures!!
Good Luck> Happy writing.

you character went back in time to undo something tragic in his life and later found out that the tragedy would always find its way back. then after an emotional ride he snaps out of it and finds himself in the hospital. turned out he was in a coma for a while and his dreams or fragments of hidden memories revived him back.

that will do.

Write a fantasy. Maybe if it's crappy enough, and plagiarizes LOTR Hollywood will sign a movie contract with you.
