Stafford is someone who could could from "nowhere" and contribute. Unless you've followed hockey fairly close for the past 5-6 weeks that is....hes been on fire.

A. Radulov from Nashville could score some big goals. His ice time will be limited but will get power play time, be on the ice when they need a goal and has been paired with and shown chemistry with Forsberg a decent amount.

As much as I like the Preds style and wish them well, I dont think they are ready to battle for the Cup much less beat the Sharks in Round 1 but, if they do advance, he'll be a part of it.

Everyone knows about Max Afinogenov! I'd pick Drew Stafford for Buffalo's "hidden gem". He has really stepped up and played above the level that was expected of him from the first day he stepped on the ice with a Sabres jersey on. He has the temperament to not get intimidated and keep a level head, even though this is his first NHL season and post-season. I just like the guy :-)

Out of that list, I will have to say Daymond Langkow for Calgary. I think he will do the most for any of the playoff teams. He is good on the power play, good short handed and fits with any line for the Flames. I think Calgary has the depth to upset Detroit.

Yeah, you never know when a Chris Kontos or John Druce will step up. Claude the fraud Lemieux was always better come play-offs too.
I won't name one for every team but I'll chuck out a few-

Kyle Calder (my top choice)
Langenbrunner
I agree with Mellanby
Brendan Morrow
I agree with Fisher
Hartnell and Smolinski are good choices
Avery
Bell

NY Rangers - Sean Avery, Ryan Callahan, Marcel Hossa, Dan Girardi

I don't really care about the other teams. Although I agree with most of Padraig's answers.

GO RANGERS!!!
