The sentencing laws piss me off too. I recently read an article in my state (New Jersey) where some guy killed a father by running over him while on coke...he got 5 years! But, drugs....youre gonna do years, for even small amounts- (????) if you are not someone of a celebrity status. It does not seem to be based on the facts of the case anymore, but who has the most dollars and coolest attorney. Speak up-loud about sentencing practices...they need to be changed.

You can avoid it too..

You are not going to get 30 days in jail for your first offense of drive w/o a license..

You are comparing the MAXIMUM sentence you can possibly get, with the ACTUAL sentence that was given to Snoop. It is like comparing apples and oranges. The maximum sentence is very rarely given to anybody, celebrity or not, rich or not..

People that have money buy there way out of trouble which isn't right. The way I feel no matter if your rich or poor if you do something wrong you should pay the price.

Money talks, look at OJ Simpson. The little man, you and I, do not have a chance because we can't afford high priced attorneys. Justice is supposed to be blind, but sometimes I think she is peeking out from under her blindfold.

The rich make the law. They give their puppets, the judges, bribes. And that's why the judges work for the rich.
