go to guitar center. They have a whole section of acoustic guitars that you can try out. The also have a lot of used guitars so just go there or a local music store and look for a 3/4 size or if that is too big a 1/2 size. I got a 1/2 as my first guitar and it still had a good sound so i hope that helps

A 3/4 size guitar is probably better for you because you are so young, and have small hands. You might find trying to learn how to play a guitar to difficult when your hands are too small is not good, and you might discouraged from continuing to learn to play guitar.

A Daisy Rock Acoustic Guitar is made especially for small hands, and the 25-1/4"-scale set-neck guitar with 20 medium frets is perfect for young guitar players. The Daisy Rock Pixie Acoustic-Electric Guitar has a sound that rocks, especially when plugged in to an amplifier.

You'd probably have good luck with a smaller-scale acoustic guitar from a pawn shop or 5 and dime. I see them all the time and they're dirt cheap. Don't pay more than 100$ tops. Make sure the neck or body isn't warped either. If you're just starting out, I recommend one with nylon strings, they're easier on the fingertips. Good luck!

Look for a 3/4 size acoustic. You may be able to trade in your instrument for a smaller one. Take a look at the links below.
