for example... bands like: The Doobie Brothers, Kiss, Jethro Tull, The Moody Blues, Yes. Just to name a few.. these are all bands that are influential in music and should definetly be in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. You may not like these bands on a personal level but you cannot argue that they should definetly be in. Who picks the bands that go in? Why can an artist like grand master flash make it (hes not even rock) but these other bands are not? What is your opinion on this? Should the way bands are voted in change? Will these artists ever make it?

And why are some non Rock bands in the "ROCK & ROLL Hall of Fame"?

ie: The Bee Gees, Earth Wind & Fire, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash.

I have no objections to the influence & impact of those I mentioned, but it should be Music Hall of Fame if that's who is to be inducted.

It's because people think that these bands are all washed up and cant do anything. They would rather have the one-hit-wonders, rather than the all time greats. In about twenty years it will be the same way. Green Day and My Chemical Romance will get in and bands like Rancid, Trivium, and Marilyn Manson will be forgotten.
