I am an MD. It is possible, but EXTREMELY unlikely. I believe the odds would be about one chance in 2^23, squared, when considering that there are 23 pairs of chromosomes derived from 2 parents. This chance in plainer terms is about 8X10^14, I believe, so maybe one in 800,000,000,000,000. This is way more than the 6.2 billion population of the Earth.
On the other hand, I once had a friend from West Virginia who said he was related to 3/4 of his high school graduating class. In a situation of frequent inbreeding, the odds become much more favorable. If both parents are nearly identical to begin with, then so will be their offspring. We see this in laboratory rats and mice that are bred to be greater than 99% identical in their genetic makeup, mostly by breeding brother to sister and father to daughter, etc., repeatedly, over many generations.
Are you from West Virginia, by chance?

No they can defenitly not be. Identical twins happen when an egg is fertialized. Instead of the cell replicating in a way that it forms one body it seperates compeletely into two geneticaly idential bodies that begin to grow into two different people that happen to be geneticaly identical. A normal human pregancy is 9 months so in order for identical twins to be three years apart one would have to be born at the normal time and the other one left in the womb for an extra three years. In other words its physicaly impossible.

If one were cloned from the other, yes. But other than that, no, because identical twins are both from the same egg, so one of them would have had to remain in the uterus for 3 years!

AS far as I know if they are 3 years apart there is no way they can be twins of any type. the only way they can be twins if they were born on the same day and year.

Leah Maddison & Isla Rose are effective as Judah Benjamin & Zachary Morgan yet i does not p.c.. Oliver and Olivia because of the fact they already would desire to proportion their birthday they want to be taken care of as an individial. I even have 2 pair of Twins myself noted as: Christopher 'Chris' Zachary Sean & Shane Nicholas Cody and jason 'Jay' Matthew Adam & Kian William Ryan. I even have yet another son noted as Jackson James Zane perhaps you like a sort of. i admire Benjamin Scott, Aiden James, Mollie ann, mckenzie faye and Riley Owen desire you will discover some reliable names and according to risk you will get twins sooner or later (or according to risk triplets)

Only if an embryo was divided by the eight cell stage and two of the cells implanted three years apart.

No, because twins have to be in the baby sack (or whatever it's called) at the same time.
