well, I feel that many, if not the majority, of those involved in the hip hop community perpetuate negative stereotypes of black men and women; It is my strong opinion that any and everyone involved in the dissemination of such hatred should be fired.

You say that as if black are the only ones who lack sense or act like thugs when in fact you will find that kind of behavior in all races. I don't think you are a racist but your question would suggest that you are.

Well how do you feel about White boys who act like thugs?

I understand that you are just asking a question out of curiosity but I have to offer a little advice. I found out how ignorant I was by asking myself where and how I formed my opinions of people from various cultures/races. Most of my answers consisted of something to do with television or other media. That was a big gigantic red flag for me. I have come to the conclusion that I need to wipe my mental slate clean and save money to travel to different countries and find things out for myself.

In the technological society we live in today it is so hard not to be influenced by what we see on TV or hear on the radio. I just try to keep in my that their job is to boost ratings and sell stories.

Good luck with learning and life. ;)

I don't feel any differently towards black people than I do toward white, pink, purple, or polka dot people. If you think about it...we white people have our share of "thugs" too. How do you feel about them? If you were honest with yourself, you would say that you hated them as well. If YOU had any sense, you would know that all people are diverse and have their rotten apples. Think with the brains God gave you, please.

I'm black and I love people period. If I am not around them I go insane!! Yes there are some black people who act like thugs, there are white people who act like thugs, latinos, etc, etc. I don't hate them either. I wish they would reform.

You know, white people sometimes act like thugs too. There are people like that in every race, including blacks.

How can you "feel" a certain way towards an entire race of people?
Haven't you seen white, Hispanic, or Asian people who act like thugs?
There are stupid people in any group of people, that trait isn't carried with any particular race. Genetically we are all less that 5% different from each other.

I feel like I feel toward any other person, I might like and befriend a person for its qualities, or I might just dislike him or her, it's not on the color of the skin, that's stupid and nonsense, besides there are so many mixtures in races and so much diversity that it would be a madness to keep racial prejudices, it's just illogical.

Honestly, whenever I see black people, I see them as a person and the thought of their race hardly ever crosses my mind.
