You have two managers from different departments in the company who both have projects that need to be done NOW. How do you handle this?

I so far agree with "reasonabledoubt" ... he answered the way I did in the interview. It's hard to know what they want to hear... so I just told them what I would expect somebody to do in that situation.

Delegate one or both of the tasks to someone who can do it at least half as well as you (internally, or via a temp agency) and spend your time managing them.

Prioritize, Do the most important one first. Since they are both due by today, you should plenty of time to work on the second one or enlist a team to give you some help. Its all about TeamWork!

Which project is most critical to the company's finances?
They like brown nose-rs who are as concerned as they with the bottom line.
