I am looking for a nice resturant to take my girlfriend too for our first anniversary, she loves salads, steaks, itilian food, and mexican food. I want somewhere really nice and romantic, no chain resturants like olive garden or something cheesy.

I have NO price range, but I would like somewhere maybe near the beach or somewhere really nice, no ghetto areas!

Thanks!!!

In Anaheim-The Catch or Mr Stox. IIn Fullerton(5 minuted from Anaheim but very cool downtown)-The Cellar or Table Ten. In Orange-Orange Hill or The Hobbit. At the beach-21 Oceanfront, Mastro's Steakhouse, The Bungalow, or try citysearch.com....lot of great reviews by area!

I too like Downtown Disney. A really nice place would be the New Orleans place, I think it's called Jazz Kitchen, Leatherby's Cafe Rouge at the Orange County Performing Arts Center is also very nice as are any of the other restaurants run by the Patina Group, Catal at Downtown Disney is another of their restaurants. They aren't a chain just financed through Patina and the chefs do some very creative things with food.

The best restaurant in the Anaheim area is the Napa Rose Restaurant, which is inside the Grand Californian Hotel at Disneyland Resort. Their food is absolutely outstanding. If you don't mind driving a bit, then I would recommend taking a drive down to Newport and/or Balboa beaches to watch the sunset on the beach.

The Long Beach marina has many nice and romantic restaurants. Several times my husband and I sat and watched the boats on the water by candle light, we could even see the Queen Mary while we had a great dinner.

Try the Orange Hill Restaurant. Its off of Chapman near the 241 and the 55. On its own hill. Its very romantic. Vallet parking included. Then you can share a romantic dessert out side with your own bonfire, overlooking the city. !!!
