Because of the struggle of feminists for equal rights, now all women (including conservatives) can vote, can demand equal pay for equal work, can have maternity leaves at work, etc. So why do they mindlessly repeat what their stupid conservative husbands tell them about feminists?

No conservative women succeed DESPITE feminists, not because of them. A conservative woman doesn't need the socialist shrill pigs on the left fighting for them.

Did you ever stop to think that during the women's rights movement that there might, just might be some women that were not power mongers, dykes, disgruntled women because they thought they wanted to be equal to men, and wanted to be women where they were. They were happy and content to live life as they had it. Why do you condemn your own gender for not hopping on the bandwagon of the few. They just do not want to ride and were perfectly alright with how they were treated, they had chivalry, protection, respect, status, and adhered to the old school philosophy that worked. They liked it. This statement is representative of the femnists that thought that women were an oppressed people and sought to balance the scales. Think about it. How many women out of this countries total for that gender took the hazardous jobs of men, how many actually advanced their position in our society by the movement. There were some but look at the numbers and tell yourself there was enough for a movement and that women were treated badly. I don't think so. The few made enough noise that they got up the chain in politics and look at the bs laws and ridiculous things that have come about and mostly to vent their revenge on some part of the male gender. That is real progressive and profitable isn't it. They could have done more good if they had been like Jimmy Carter and helped build homes for people who are still seeking the American Dream, instead with their attitude and a little power have managed not only to take away the dream but they are killing the family values and values for our children and for what? Because they were unhappy being women and wanted to be men. Look at what they have done and I see nothing positive that they could not have had had they asked. It is a sad day that women had enough disrespect to challenge the male gender but when they failed on a massive scale to do positive things or to free a gender that was not oppressed makes the movement useless just like their leaders.

They got the vote over 75 years ago! Those are pretty old "feminists" you're talking about. LOL

You can demand all you want, don't mean you'll get it, don't mean you deserve it.

"maternity leave" ... real progress, having the stupid government tell employers what kind of personnel policies they have to have. Facistic.

The "struggle" of feminists has been over for quite a while. Women won, which is good. Yet the whining goes on. You're defeating your own purpose. Move on.

You think all those women are letting their husbands tell them what to do? Nice stereotyping you're doing there. Don't you like women? Are you a sexist pig?

I so completely disagree with your assertion.

1. Men have not changed their expectations of women, although women's lives now have many extra jobs.
2. I wish I had a nickel for every time a man (political party unknown) has told me that "you wanted equality, and you got it." A total fabrication, since I am way too young to have ever had a part in the feminist movement.
3. Getting to know that if I have children, I will have to work so I can pay someone else to "baby-sit."
4. Watching the sad, angry, suicidal children in our society growing up with little hope (lack of parenting time).
5. Being discriminated against by men like you.
6. Getting to fight a man for custody of the child I brought into the world, held every time he was sick, paid the medical bills for all the treatment he has ever needed, gone to every practice and ball-game, taken to cub-scouts and led for 3 years (and on and on), and being told by a Liberal judge that there was no longer any mother presumption, and that the man who has played Santa once a year, shacks up with a woman (not wife), hasn't paid child support in 8 years, has an equal shot at custody. OH YES, I HAVE BENEFITTED. NOT.

Most conservative women are the REAL feminists...who want rights...not this nonsense that tries to deny gender and the lot. Today's feminist movement has been hijacked by liberals way back in the 1960's and the focus of th emovement changed from attaining rights to creating a welfare state that replaces a patriarch in a women's life. Its a sad thing indeed.

Have you ever thought to look into a where are they now situation on women who were involved in leading feminist movements?

Gloria Steinem who once said the frequently quoted
"A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle."
Decided to get over it and got married 7 years ago.

Norma McCorvey who was the women aliased as Jane Roe in Roe vs Wade., has been fighting to reverse Roe vs Wade feeling she made a mistake.

Certainly there were rights to fight for. Some of them just felt they made a mistake in how they went about it.

I was under the impression that feminism gave women a choice as how to live their lives. They could go to work or......according to the feminists women could only make one decision. Any other one was looked upon scornfully. Not every woman wants to go to work. Raising a family was hard enough. Me personally, I'd like to go to work after the kids were old enough to go to school. As for the vote....I'm not sure if some women should vote.

Because the feminist movement is presently led by radical left wing lesbians. Kinda like Rosie O'Donnell. In the earlier part of the last century, the movement was led by the common housewife.

Believe it or not, some women like different roles for different sexes.

But most conservative women I know tend to simply be disgusted with the tone of the average rabid feminist.

I don't repeat what my husband tells me. In fact,he treats me like an equal. However,I have seen many so called feminists in my life who have a deep hatred of men. Not all,but a good number.
