Well, first off you should have paid the support for your child. I'm not sure how you got away without paying, as in PA. your wages would have been garnished. Shame on you for neglecting your child. 50 is not old and everyone has problems. You are now stuck taking a bus or asking friends for rides. That is your punishment. If you want to know how to get your license back, ask the authorities. If you cannot work, you can apply for S.S.I. and I'm sure part of that will be garnished for your child's care.

I believe it all has to be paid back before you get your license back. Had you kept current, there would be no problem for you now. Shame on you. Your children needed that support and you just didn't care.

Set up a payment plan to pay back the child support you owe. This may allow you to get your license back. I am not an expert on the law in Florida.

pay ur goddamn child support instead of getting a licence, you deadbeat. You're 50 and haven't worked in "years" but you apparently have enough money to "take care" of an expensive suspension, so here's what I think- worry about your kids, not yourself!

I think the only way around it is to pay the child support. If you are too sick to work to support your children, are you well enough to be driving around?

Take the bus. If there is no bus, try a taxi or check into carpooling to work.

Why aren't you paying? Your children deserve to be cared for.

Start making payment so they'll reinstate your license. Then leave the state and get a license somewhere else and don't go back.

If you have health problems preventing you from driving, maybe you should look into disability?
