I have a son already named Christian Alexander. I am thinking about Caden Noah for a boy name for the next one coming. The prob is, when I say Christian and Caden, I'm not quite sure if it sounds like I have a boy and a girl. Say them aloud and tell me if it sounds like that to you...and if you like them or not...totally not opposed to other ideas

As a mother of a Raven and a Rowan, both girls, I suggest you pick a name that starts with a different letter all together. I am constantly saying the wrong name to the wrong child... and in a fit of frustration, of course I am like, "Raven, I mean Rowan, whoever you are, get over here now!"

They are both nice names though ;)

I've never heard of a girl named Caden. It sounds 100% boyish to me.

In fact i know of someone with 2 boys named Caden and Christian (Caden came first though) and it doesn't sound girly at all.

Next to the name Christian, Caden does sound "girly". Maybe try something similar but a little more manly then Caden.

Caden is a name that can go for boys or girls. It's like the names Alex, Chris, Jo, Bobby, Jules, Angel, Toni, etc. The name will grow on the child it just sounds weird now because you don't have a face to go with it. Caden is a good name. The girl name I believe is spelled something like Kayden or Kaedan.

First of all, I LOVE both of the names. It's a little cutesy to have "Christian and Caden" but that's just my opinion, but since I love both names, it's not a problem. (I hope that made sense) To answer your question, no I don't think it sounds like a boy and a girl, sounded like two boys to me. A lot of people use boys names on girls (which imo is a terrible trend) but I really doubt people will think that one is a girl, both names are boys names.

I have heard of Christian being used for both boys and girls but Caden is a boys name. I love both and they sound great together to me.

i LOVE Caden!! And no, it definitely sounds more like a boy than a girl!
I'm not so sure that I like Caden Noah (both of the "n" sounds directly following each other- it doesnt exactly flow).
But i definitely like Caden!

I think you picked a great name. Caden is a boy name to me. My son is named Cade and I think Caden Noah is adorable! Go with it!
