"Wicked" is great. We saw it the day before we saw "Hairspray," which was also great, but in different ways.

But don't overthink it either. If you're going to be in New York, go to the TKTS booth, and find what they have available. It's a good (and half-priced) way to be surprised.

I love The Drowsy Chaperone which is one of the funniest things I have ever seen and The Lion King which leaves you speechless. Spamalot was also great!

Hairspray is a must see. I would also recommend thoroughly modern Millie or Les mis.

"Wicked" is definitely a MUST SEE. I walked out of "Rent".

On DVD, check out "1776", "Music Man", and "Brigadoon".
