Why i like McCain is simple. I agree on most terms he does. I agree we cant back out of Iraq now, and i practice what i say, b/c the day i turn 18 im joining the Armed Forces. I stand with him in the gay marriage rights and the right to bare arms. I believe that he can turn America in a different direction, and have the knowledge to know what to do in big thinking situations. He can do wonders for America. Now i dont care if you hate him or love him
but a guy that has served for this country and has been involved with politics as long as him deserves the respect of the American people.

Shane I admire what you do at your age. Let me give you an example of why this country votes so poorly.
The first answer to your question is someone who seems to be against liberals "period" ... the second one is someone using the word flip flop and comparing McCain to Kerry ... funny how they don't seem to see how Bush has perfected the use of the word flip flop (after all we still don't know the real reason of our Iraq presence) ... finally the third one call McCain old and spender.
So basically NOBODY in this country looks at facts, track records or ability to run this country. They look at the sex, the age, the look, the charisma and what side of the political world they are.
Stick to your guns, I think McCain would do an awesome president, he was my GOP choice against Bush but many republicans didn't See t that way and today they are biting their nails.
That being said I will vote for the person who has the best agenda to bring this nation back from ashes ... i don't care if one idea is against what i believe if all other 25 are the right ones.
We need to vote with our heads and no longer with our hearts.

He has lost his way.
This last trip to Baghdad what a joke. He stands up at a podium to blame the media for not telling the story of how safe it is there, yet he had to wear a flak jacket, be surrounded by over 100 soldiers in Humvees, 2 Apache and 3 Blackhawk helicopters to take his "safe" stroll in Baghdad. He contributed to the deaths of people in the market he visited on Sunday. Those people would have been seen as collaborators and there was a bombing there less than 36 hours after he left.
He has almost prostituted himself to the right wing of his party by giving up his " maverick" status which made him appear loyal to the best interests of the country not the party and has fallen in lock step with them.
He supported the suspension of Habaeus Corpus in the Military Commissions Act of 2006 which is a direct violation of our Constitution. He is changing his stances to the point he has given me whiplash. At first he had cited that it was a violation of the Constitution, then he caved and went along with the Bush Administration. He just does not show anymore that he can do it.
There is nothing more to say.

It's good that you're involved in the process. John McCain seems to be losing touch with reality. He claimed that Americans could walk around Baghdad streets and that General Patreas goes out daily by himself.

He's getting a lot of bad press for his rosy image of Iraq. He greatly defends an unpopular President and people are kinda seeing it as a turn off. I dont think he'll win the party's nomination. He's been accused of flip-flopping, (someone saying they agree with one thing then later saying that they disagree with it). He's a good guy, just not in touch with reality like some of us are.

I used to like McCain too. His problem was he couldn't win hard-core Republican primary voters by saying what he really thought -- Bush the Dumber (or actually Rove) destroyed him for that candor 7 yrs ago. Eventually, his opinions came around to meet the opinions of those primary voters, and that's a real shame, as he used to be an honest person. He is an old man, and I wish he could have died without compromising the principles that carried him through a Viet prison and up close to the White House.

I think McCain's trying to be too many things at once. He tries to please the left on some issues and the right on others in the hope that he'll expand his support base, but he's just deteriorating it from both sides. Your website may not have gotten many hits because too few people know about it. Try some advertising.

If you like Dictator Dumbya who has ruined this country in a way that it will not recover until you are too old to care, McCain has become not much different and would continue the Dumbya Coup. For me I say.... Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

I really had no problem with McCain until his trip to Bagdad. His unnecessary lying about safety issues tells me that he doesn't know where the truth stops and lies start...mind you...not a bad candidate for the president, now that I think about it...

whilst she suggested: "My marriage ended as a results of fact John McCain did no longer choose to be forty, he had to be 25. you recognize that occurs...it basically does.'" that's her opinion. those people who've had any variety of failed relationship and/or marriage understand there are in lots of cases 2 or extra facets to each tale. in step with danger we'd desire to consistently additionally get John McCain's area of issues to previously we crucify him as a results of fact the villain. yet otherwise of putting it, in the adventure that your former considerable different replace into putting her area of issues accessible, you may desire to additionally get your area out. someplace between the two, might desire to be a achievable version of the certainty. My wager is after the two went via extreme wellbeing subject concerns, his being the extreme torture plus broken arms and leg plus hers as listed above, they have been the two impossible to do with. even if he might have fared extra powerful as a results of fact he had the potential of his fellow POW's to help sustain him. They understood as a results of fact they have been additionally dealing with what he did. Now who did she have for help? She did no longer have very very nearly 2 hundred fellow human beings (POW's in his case) who have been together with her daily and had extreme injuries from an accident. which would be precisely the version, he replace into extra upbeat approximately his issues as a results of fact of his help. She might have been an evil wench to handle and that would desire to drag every physique down. basically my 8 cents worth, adjusted up as a results of increasing administration fees and inflation..

I used to like him, until he started agreeing with everything that the president says. He used to be his own man. He used to stand up for what he believed in. now he is just cowtowing to neo-conservatives to try and get elected.
