The movie star Chevy Chase or the retired presenter Anna Ford? Anna Ford all the way!

I know, you mean cars. I think Chevy.

It's hard to compare, depending upon which model you are talking about. you'll see the reliability of Ford different across models, very inconsistent. For example, Focus and Windstar - both models have different issues/recalls/problems. But, when you look at a civic and odyssey, they are having a pretty reliable statistic data in overall.

Chevy - GM has improved a lot very lately on their new models, stylings, engine, transmission. It's a good sign to see both ford and chevy working so hard to improve their brands.
However, I'm still don't see that their improvement is close enough to compete with Japanese and German car makers yet. That's why many buyers make their move to Japanese in most cases. If you don't understand why american car makers loses the sales, try to compare them with Japanese one in terms of quality control, technology, creativity, ergonomics, styling, comfort, safety, etc...Obviously, Japanese (toyota, honda) has the best QC process and system in the world in auto industry. Who has the 8 speed transmission? First hybrid? Most advance GPS system? with the most JD power awards, etc...think if Chevy and Ford have any of those?? If not, why bother to compare? If yes, whoever win among these 2, can it compete with the Japanese??

Chevy. I have owned both over the \years and I have found GM to make the better cars of the domestic automakers. They have also had the highest rise in consumer approval over the past few years of the Big Three which I can attest to as I now have two Chevy's and a Caddie in my household.

FORDS have always produced problems for me even when it was one of the highly rated Taurus' - just wouldn't stay running. I guess FORD really does mean -

Found On Roadside Dead.

I have always heard that chevy were great automobiles, but since I've owned a ford (eddie bauer) expedition..I feel the ford SUV is definitely where its at..It is so strong and sturdy..It can really take some rough driving..The rough city pot holes can't do anything to my truck (smile) P.S. The city can do some major damage to an automobile:(

What are you kidding? There's no comparison, Harrison Ford is a way better actor than Chevy Chase.
