he needs to get you insured on his car for you to drive it, i.e. he rings them up and adds you as a second driver with a provisional liscence. his insurance will undoubtably go up however

Your brother must have been driving for at least two years and he must insure you as a second driver although as a provisional but for you to go on the road with him, this in case you are involved in an accident you are then covered, dont forget your brother has not got dual controls like a driving school has.
Good luck with it any way.

like the man said u need to get insured on ur bothers car, he must be over 21 and been driving over 3 years. remember to use l plates to. its so much cheaper to pay for a couple of lessons.

or just drive his car an if u get stoped say u are our brother. lol
goodluck

You need to be insured to drive his car and he needs to have passed his test for more than two years.

Good luck with the test.

Both answers are OK.

1) You need to be ON his policy (it costs us about $100.00 extra a month for our 17yr old son), but

2) in Kentucky, your bro needs to be 25 (I think) before he can sit in the car with you to be your 'teacher' or 'co-driver'.

It is expensive to own a car! Don't EVER drive without being in right mind - -that means NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.

i think he needs to be driving for at least 2years to teach you but i would also get professional ones as you can and will pick up bad habits before your test. gd luck. xx
