OK this is going 2 sound really weird, but when i go running i like to listen to S Club 7's Bring it all back to you!
If you listen to the lyrics its really enthusiastic and helps you to be confident in your self.
I also find the beat is really good for running in time so. Mind you, if you are an experienced runner, then you might need somthing faster.
My final point is that it wakes you up in the morning. I tend to go running at about 9 in the morn, so it wakes me up when i put it on really loud!

My favourite artist to work out to is Kasabian - Shoot the runner, Empire, Club Foot, Reason is treason...all fast paced songs, pretty bassy

I like disco music. it has a faster beat. anything you can dance to would work.

really depends on your type of music. i always like starting my workout with samantha james' "rise" and you can look for other mixes.
