well, my friend Bailey* is a really good friend of mine. but she's been being REALLY mean to my best friend Jackie*. At least once a day, in front of EVERYONE, Bailey will say "ewww...Jackie your SOO ugly" or "eww your outfit is hidious. time for a shopping trip." or something like that. she ALWAYS says JK after it, but only after we all look at her weird, and you can tell she's not really kidding. she's saying it to be mean. today, i finally told her off in front of everyone and said "Bailey that's really rude. you need to stop that." and she was like "I WAS JUST KIDDING!" and i said "yeah but it hurts Jackie's feelings and it's really annoying so stop.

now she's mad at me and i dont know what to do. HELP?!

*Sounds like Miss Bailey is jealous of Jackie...perhaps?*

~I mean that's the only reason I can think of why she would be acting like that and giving Jackie so much attention. It makes sense right?

~Yeah well I say if she's that bitchy and can't handle you telling her to quit being a douche to your other friend, then who gives a **** if she's mad at you. She's not worth your time anyways, especially if she has to go out of her way everyday and tell "Jackie" that she's ugly or can't dress.

*Shes not worthy of being called a FRIEND at all.*

~So let her be a PMSing ***** and "ignore" you, who cares? If she wants to be a rag....then let her. Go do your own thing with all of your other friends, and tell "Bailey" when she quits being such a *****, then she can hang with you again.

*good luck with "Bailey" and "Jackie".

You did the right thing, standing up for compassion and decency. Don't worry about Bailey's feelings. You should have made her mad. She has been acting like a cruel b***h and cares not one bit about anyone else's feelings. Good for you that you had the courage to stand up to her. If you're lucky, she will no longer consider you to be a friend and you won't have to deal with her anymore.

Give Jackie a hug and tell her that you're sorry she was hurt by such an ugly person; someone who has an ugly heart.

Well maybe you should just tell her how you felt when she was acting mean to Jackie. Apologies to her and say your sorry if you hurt her feelings but when you were telling Jackie how she looked ugly and her outfit looks hideous that was kinda mean and I didn't like it nor did Jackie. It really hurt our feelings. But was Jackie with you when you just told her off and I hope you said it in a nice way, right?

Ok you absolutely did the right thing. And why do you need or want a friend who would single out someone to humiliate. Obviously its her own insecuritys here that are causing her to pick on your other friend. Maybe she's jelous too. Alot of female friendships deal with jelousy between friends.
But you did the right thing. I hope if it had been the other way around you would have said something too. Don't do anything, give this girl time to think about how she's been acting and see if she comes to you. If she doesn't, stick friends that arn't out to bash on someone elses feelings.
If she does talk to you, say to her I just don't understand why you have to treat her like this. She hasn't done anything to you, and its not funny its humiliating.
I have a friend, who when I met her had another friend. They aren't talking anymore, mostly due to this other girls jelousy, trying to monopolize her time, lieing constantly, and her permiscuity. Sometimes you have to cut people out of your lives if they are hurting the people around you. And hopefully they learn from that.

Let her be mad! Good job for sticking up for your best friend! Bailey* doesn't need an apology- she needs to get a life. You did the right thing, don't back down.

if bailey was really your friend, she would know that it is not nice 2 diss ur best friend.
u need to tell her that nobody thinks its funny but her, and u know shes not kidding
confront her (with jackie) and tell her that if u cant handle being nice to jackie, then u arent going to be friends with bailey
real friends know these things
if bailey was youre real friend, she wouldnt be doing these things
and if bailey really wanted to make it up to you and jackie, (after ur told her to backoff) she would apologize and know that makin fun of jackie is juss low

if your best friend is jackie, who cares if bailey is mad at you? You don't need a friend like that!

your friend sounds jealous of this jackie girl (why else would she make fun of her)----bailey needs to grow up and in due time hopefully she will realize that she was in the wrong and start speaking to you again

I think you did the right thing and she really only has
herself to be mad at. What she was doing was
very rude and mean. I would just ignore her
until she apologizes. Good Luck.

Do nothing. You don't need this kind of people in your life. Its something good happened today. Stand for yourself and for people who cant stand for them self. and that's what you did. Good job, keep it up and move on. Make this the last she can ever say some think bad to anyone. Its time Her mother needs to teach her some good sense. But really you need to be with people who say some think good and teach good. Think positive and say positive and positive think will happen. You want to keep your mind as open as you can.
