Yes, in the middle of the night. It scared me a lot when my mom was ill. The phone would ring and I knew something was wrong.

Yes actually...thats so strange i really thought i was the only one who ever felt that way...and i honestly couldnt tell you why i felt that way exactly...ive just had times in my life where i wanted to hide away from the world at least for a little while and i know that i cant ignore my phone...so i guess that was one of the reasons...

Yeah. I hate when it's really quiet and the phone starts to ring. That echoing noise is very eerie.

yes, once I was reading a really good book and the phone rang. I jumped and thought it was probably my mom. The first thing is always says is "what are you doing" so instead of saying hello (without thinking) I said reading. It wasn't her. HAHA.
