love is a strange thing especailly when your young. unfortunately a lot of things change in people say between the beginning and end of high school and between the beginning and end of college. people develop different views on things, allow different people to influence them. i dated a girl for almost 4 years between high school and college and things changed for the worst. im not saying my situation reflects yours, its just a really complicated thing with so many variables. you can be in love one year and have things fall apart the next, but its a risk that most people are willing to take. will you get hurt, maybe, the possibility is always there, but someone wiser than me wrote its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

Good question. I think it just comes to you when you are in love for the first time. If you haven't been seriously in love than you probably don't know what it feels like. All I can tell you is that it is a shocking feeling that you get and you get so nervous when you speak that it all comes out a big mess. I hope this helps! :)

If you are in love you will have a tingly feeling and you will never want to leave this person, but most young people are really not in love.

Probably not...a lot of adults aren't sure when they are in love, lust, or infatuation. Doesn't mean the emotion being felt isn't strong...but until one has gained some maturity and experience with adult-relationships, it's quite likely not love (perhaps a percursor).

You don't. Young people have no idea what love really is since they lack the life experience to compare it too.

It's more than knowing or even a feeling...it's like a "wow" sense. The grass is greener, you feel stronger, happier, and you can't stop to think that you are staring at your partner for the last couple of minutes. That's love. When you start to feel like your heart is about to jump out of your chest when she smiles at you. :)

you don't. Love is something that develope over time and needs maturity. When you are young you confuse desire with love.

That's a hard one. I think, when you're in love, you can feel it in your heart and soul. Whenever you're with this person, you know that it's exactly where you're supposed to be. If you have to question it, then you probably aren't in love. You'll just... know when it happens.
