I´ve learned that there are some people in this world that you just cant reason with...and so its just better to say nothing. I know i should speak up more than i do...but im just kind of a quiet person..and i see no point in conflict with another who has no wish to see things in another perspective. However, if this person were to start insulting a friend, family member or any innocent by-stander..i would just tell him my opinion calmly and ask him to apologize to whomever he wrongly insulted. And if that didnt work...lol well then i think i´d get kind of feisty after that point. :D
Im not proud of my temper...and im a pretty calm person in general...its just that if someone pushes my buttons by doing something like that or started to be racist or hurt an animal... i wouldnt be able to stay calm. People like that just enrage me.

unless you blow your cool, you can always use polite-like words. you can raise your voice politely,
for bosses elders and other peoples kids, polite is the way to go... morons, pests and people with smirks on their faces you can still be polite (if you're talented) if someone is stepping on your toes, set Them limits not yourself. there are people out there just screaming for you or anyone to set limits for them. the others are out looking to take advantage of those they can bully or push the limit. combine firmness with politeness. you go try that and watch the difference

At the point when redness creeps into my vision. The point when I get totally quiet. The danger zone. Fortunately I have only had it happen a few times in my life.

I find it's possible to remain civil while putting someone in their place. If you allow you them to drag you down to their level, they will beat you to death with experience.
