I would read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, Gone With The Wind, Scarlett, The Hawk and the Heather, and The Flame and The Flower. These are all good romance and historical romance novels. I have read all of these and they are great.

A great romance book is twilight by stephanie meyer. Its REALLY REALLY good. Its about a girl that falls in love with a vampire. The uglies series is also good thats by scott westerfield. It takes place in the future where everyone has an operation to become pretty. And a girl is forced to make a decision to either betray her best friend or never become pretty.

I loved "Goodnight, Mr. Tom" when I was younger (like 6th grade), but it's a really nice story about a boy in England during World War II. I'm much older now, but every so often, I go back and re-read this one. Enjoy! :)
