Yes- muscles in your throat force the water into your stomach.
Birds however cannot swallow without gravity...

Yes. Years ago, in a middle school science class, I saw a movie of a guy eating and drinking while standing on his head. They used a special x-ray camera so you could even see the food move from his mouth to his stomach.

He drank milk using a bent straw in the glass.

Even if you can't stand on your head, have some friends balance you in that position while you try drinking.

You have to figure out a way to stand on your head and not spill the water of course. But it can be done. It's just a matter of your throat muscles forcing the water down your throat, regardless of the fact that you're upside down.

Some people can others cant. Gravity help when you stand up right, but upside down, its all about muscles.
