It would be appropriate to change her last name to Birkhead but I don't think he should change her first name since she was named after her brother. Poor girl already had her name changed once!!!

Her first name should not be change because her mother gave her that beautiful name. It represents her mother and her brother.
But, that’s his daughter. Then yes, she should have her father’s last name, Birkhead.
The name Stern should not be part of the equation.

The sur name of Stern will automatically be changed to Birkhead after the DNA proved him to be the biological father. He should and will leave her given name as Dannielynn because her mother is dead and that's the name she chose for her. It will be out of respect. He's seems to be a very decent fellow.

He was never going to change her first name just her surname. It should be changed to Birkhead since Howard K. Stern has no relation to the child. I believe that it should be either Dannielynn Birkhead or Dannielynn Birkhead-Smith to honor her brother and her mother (mother's stage name was Anna Nicole Smith obviously and Vicki Lynn Marshall is her legal name).

First name given by mother should always stay. Last name can be changed because in the future she will wonder why her last name isn't her birth fathers.

i think just the flast name be changed only cause birkhead is the father not stern and the first name be left alone.
