I can't remember who said this, but it went something like "Black people can't be racist because we are of the oppressed race!" (????!!!) I think, unfortunately, that is the opinion of the general population, or at least the part of the population that mentions racism. I do believe that if people want to end racism and blur the lines between the races, we need to quit the double standards. Do you think anyone would have blinked an eye if Tom Joyner had made the exact same comment? The way things are right now, white people are scared to death (in general) to even mention race, lest they be labelled racist. It should not be okay for one set of people to be allowed to say something that another set of people is not allowed to say. What can I say about white people that a black person can't, that I'd be ready to fight him or her over? Um...right.

p.s. I did like that in "Crash," Terrence Howard jumped on Ludacris for using the n-word. That's how it should be. All or nothing.

Jesse Jackson is a joke. I don't know why anyone would ever take him seriously. Every time something remotely akin to the "Imus Scandal" surfaces, in rushes Jesse Jackson like he's on a mission from God. I'm surprised he's not in "The Blues Brothers" movie.

He's the biggest racist around. He's always wanted to be the replacement for Dr. Martin Luther King, but he's so far removed from him, they shouldn't even share the same planet.

That is a good point. Jewish people are on the list of people you are never ever allowed to say anything bad about. I personally will stick to making fun of Caucasians because that is allowed. How about the USC female tennis team? What a bunch of straight-haired ho's they are.
