Absolutely. I agree with you, marriage is about 50/50, you have to share. He needs to leanr to share and to be fair b/c the tv is not only his, its yours too and you just as much a right to watch what you want when you, just as he does.

I think that is fair. But I am the baseball fan in my house and we watch the game together, but he will also sit and watch a movie on Lifetime with me. So I win either way. If he doesn't want to watch what you are watching maybe he should do something else until your movie is over and then he could watch t.v. after that.

No cause you can get into a baseball game, Lifetime (the woman's channel) not so much huh? If he does watch the lifetime channel with you I am sure he will have the same attitude your having right now with baseball, is turn around fair play? If your miserable should he be?hmmmm what kind of marriage do you have?

Don't sit thru his games, and go watch your lifetime in a different room. Problem solved. I hope your really not fussing about this w/your husband, you know men are babies and they will use any little excuse to jump off with another woman.
I can hear him now: ''I need someone that understands me...my wife;s such a nag, tryna make me watch Lifetime''.

Well it would be fair but not too many guys are going to be gung ho for Lifetime. Why don't you buy another TV and then you won't HAVE to watch baseball with him unless of course you want to.

Do you only have one tv. If so, you should both be able to watch the show you like. When he is watching sport, find something else to do. When you are watching lifetime, he should find something else to do. Neither on of you should be watching so much tv that you don't know what to do when you can't watch.

Ha! Sounds like me and my hubby but with football. We usually try to find something on that we both like, usually the Discovery or History channel. I just "put up with" football, its not on all year so I try not to nag unless thats ALL we watch all day.

My granny used to say... "Whats good for the goose is good for the gander".... so yeah, he should shut up about what you are watching, if he doesn't want to watch, he should find something else to do.
