how long would you have to stay in a freezer before you died?

i mean the type of walk in freezer you get in restaurant kitchens!

Just before you die the light goes out so you wouldn't be able to see the time on your watch.

Most walk in kitchen freezer units do not have that low a temperature. Most operate as 'chillers' , keeping food cold but not really frozen. The temperature would need to drop to around 35f below to become a serious problem. These sorts of temperatures are never reached in freezer units but they are often at the Polar regions. Death from cold usually follows sleep so that a person might be cold, then fall into a coma [sleep] and then die.

Eight and a half hours if you can move and huddle to keep the circulation going. And BTW under law walk-in freezers now come with an inside emergency door lever to prevent such accidents--check it out.

Seriously it would depend on lots of factors about body weight, metabollism and even, I understand, that females might last longer than males !!

Depends on if its on, or if there is a food/water store inside it. It will be much quicker to slit your wrists... not giving anyone ideas hopefully.
