Yes, humans need a heart because it's what pumps the blood through our bodies. So if you want to live.. you'll need that handy little organ.

Humans need some sort of pump for the blood to be circulated throughout the body and most importantly the lungs. We are all born with a heart as our pump which sometimes fails. In this case an artificial heart can be implanted which helps pump blood through the body. Right now, there really is nothing as effective as a natural heart, therefore transplant is usually the best option.

Well, we need something to pump our blood through our bodies in order for oxygen to get to all of the cells...so, technically, if an artificial pump could be created to serve the same purpose, we wouldn't need a "heart", but we will always need something...

Yes they do...The function of the heart is to circulate blood through out your body. Another function Pumping blood through the lungs removes carbon dioxide and refreshes the blood with oxygen and the The oxygenated blood is pumped to the body to provide oxygen and nutrients and to remove waste products!!

of course! if they didnt hav 1, then what will b pumping there blood thru out their body? their body parts would lack oxygen-filled blood and oh! thatll b terrible! so yeah.... they do...
