I'm her mother and I don't want her partying or having casual sex but I don't want her to ever be in one of those videos.

i am a teenager myself, and from experience, i think that by now your daughter should know how to act and what not to do.
also, do not try to restrain her too much, let her explore new stuff and find out things for herself, and even let her make mistakes and learn from them.
if you keep her too close or too safe she might turn the oposite way and rebel against you in a desperate atempt to be left alone... trust me, i know girls who did this.
trust your daughter and give her her space..

There is not much you can say to her. She will make her own choices you just have to let her know that those videos don't make you cool. they make you look sluty. And alot of girls have had thier messed up pretty badly by those videos. If you think you have a wild daughter be strict with her. Don't be scared of making her hate you give her freedom but make sure you know where she is and you talk to parents and check in with parents. I am 24 and I was a wild child I wish my parents would of been a little stricter now.

Maybe you don't need to say anything, there's no guarantee she's sitting there thinking "wow, I'd love to be one of those girls"

I know you wish you could protect your daughter from everything, but all you can really do is guide her. If you must say something, I would say something positive like "I find it really sad that those girls are valued only for their bodies. I'm so proud you're a bright girl with great prospects"

Even though you probably wish she hadn't seen the commercial, this is the perfect opportunity for you to talk to her about what you expect from her, and what she should expect from herself, and about what kind of behavior will earn her respect and what kind of behavior will earn her negative attention. Ask her what she thinks about the commercial and about how girls dress and stuff. Good Luck, my daughter is 7, I worry about the stuff she sees too.

I would leave it alone unless your daughter seems affected by it. if you and your daughter are very close, ASK her what she thought of it.

also ask yourself, is your daughter the kind of girl that would be into partying etc.? if you don't know, try and get a closer relationship with your daughter. if no, don't worry. but if the answer is yes, talk to your daughter lightly about it. ask her what she wants to do in her life. be invovled by asking her, about her OWN life.

I will tell her that if I ever catch her out there like that-I don't give a damn where in the world she is-I will find her. I will take my belt to her thighs and light a fire to her and cause pain like she has never felt before. I don't spank her often-but that right there is cause for an adult whooping.

They are drunk college girls being exploited.
and on spring break and such most girl actually do NOT have sex.
and that sort of attention is negative,

also ask her how she would feel to be on the commercial and have your whole family and her friends see it.

tell your daughter that the way those girls act on t.v is inappropriate .that a young girl should never disrespect there self like that and that you never behaved like that and you would be very up set if she did.
