We all know the argument's for and against, but who think's that we should start the draft asap, so the burden can be shared by all who are fit enough ofcourse.

The military draft should be immediate and have no exemptions! Todays youth are from single parent or 2 parents working families and the are totally lost in electronic video game fantasy. Male, female, gay, handicapped-all should go. Not all can carry a rifle but you would free up all the ones that can!!! The discipline they need would change their life from being a unhealthy, overweight, video couch potato!!

Not necessary. The only people that try and scare everybody with the draft are the left. It was a major issue the Dems tried to convince everybody would happen if Bush was re-elected last time. Liberal voters are completely complicit in the draft fraud perpetrated during the election.

There should never be a draft. If a state's military action is truly justified, the citizens will volunteer to participate.

In a country that prides itself on freedom, it is hypocritcal for the government to tell its citizens what causes are, and are not, worthy of dying for. A right to your own life is just that: a right to devote yourself to things you think are worth fighting for. There are few things more anti-freedom than forced military service.

hell no!!!

That means people that dont support this stupid war would have to go fight and possibly die.

You can say that all americans are obligated to protect our country, but our country was founded on freedom. It should be your right to not want to go to war, no matter if you are living in this country.

Stop the WAR!!!

Make these stupid politicians go to war, and even better, there sons and daughters! If they want to send innocent young men and women over there, they can send their spoiled corrupt young family members too! Send those dumb Bush daughters to Iraq!!!

Yeah...I say institute a draft and let your young suffer for your mistakes.

Maybe that will teach you to not wage wars on countries that never pose threats to you.
