I think that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I know that sometimes one feels like there is no way out.....but looking back at it....I see there was and there always will :)

technically, if it's possible, it's always an option. maybe not a good one, but it's an option.
I think that compared to a slow, painful death, suicide might be preferable. Say you were in a plane crash and you went down in the middle of nowhere, no one was coming to help you, and you were bleeding profusely. Well, maybe that's not a good example, but yeah.... if you think about it enough, there have to be a few scenarios that have sufficient composition to consider suicide.
Noble? I don't know... That's a tough one.

Yesterday was five years to the day that I woke up one morning and found my fiance haning in his closet by his shoestrings. SUICIDE IS NEVER AN OPTION!!! It's a chicken way out and even though it makes things easier for the person there are a lot of people left behind to suffer and feel guilty because they couldn't stop it. I'm not ery religious but I do beleive in heaven and god considers suicide to be one of the most selfish acts that exist. Have you evr heard that if you give your life trying to save someone else that you automaticly go to heaven......where do you think people go for wasting it.

Certainly if you are trapped and there is no way to escape and you face a painful death, that would be OK.
If you sacrificed your life (a kind of suicide, for you know you will die) to save others

Suicide should never be an option. it is very heartbreaking for family and friends that they leave behind. anyone that is thinking about committing suicide should reconsider should pick up the phone and seek help.

suicide is an option sure, but try and fail and it becomes a criminal offence..
As a noble manner of death i would say if an illness was terminal then it becomes euthanasia.
