Actually it be OK. You could put a new CMOS Battery it and it be good for 2 years, or just remove the old one. When you reboot 2 years later it may take a little longer to set everything if the battery is remove, but, it will boot. I would remove the other large battery so it not leak and damage something.
I found an old 286 Laptop in an office once and they gave it to me as it was old. All the batteries were dead. I removed the Rechargeable Battery, put in a new CMOS Battery and made an AC Adapter for it. It Booted up to DOS. LOL! Darn thing was so old it not have Windows, but, the DOS was fun to play with and I found some DOS Games to install. I also used the DOS version of "WORD" yea, they had a DOS version back then.

The only real concern would be with the moving parts. There is a certain risk that fans or maybe the hard drive will seize, although unlikely. This is more of concern with PC's that already have dust built up inside. It's unlikely, but possible. You may want to clean it out before storing.

I'd make a backup of the data stored.

Maybe it would be a good idea to sell it now and when you'll be back two years later, buy a new one, because by that way you will enjoy a new Pc and you won't be worried about it.
