I haven't done one on a Camaro in a while but the MAF should be located at the front of and on top of the throttle body. Follow intake air duct from the air filter to the throttle body (the throttle body is the housing for the throttle plates that move when you press on the accelerator) and look for a connector that is at the top front of the throttle body. That connector should be for the MAF.
I don't remember if the two bolts that secure it are regular cap screws or if they are TORX screws. TORX screws are tamper resistant and will require a special socket to remove them. The socket can be purchased at the local auto parts store.
If you're buying the MAF at the parts store, have the counter person show you where it is on the car. If the car is not driveable then open a Chilton manual for that car at the parts store and look at the picture. you can get the Chilton manual at the parts store or at a Barnes and Noble bookstore.
It should be easy to change the sensor. The connector will have a safety lock with a weather-tight seal on the terminals. Just be careful taking the connector off and you'll be okay
hope that helps

To be hassle-free, you need to use electric powered areas cleanser or throttle physique cleanser (no longer CARB cleanser) to bathe the maf sensor, even nevertheless, it fairly is strongly discouraged to apply something different than a chosen maf sensor cleanser because of the actuality that, after a number of cleanings, it ought to consume away on the shielding coating on the steel filaments and at last reason the sensor to circulate out thoroughly. till you reside in incredibly dusty circumstances or there is a great number of oil outfitted up on the sensor, it is no longer needed to bathe it because of the actuality that the air filter out could be filtering the air sufficient to maintain it sparkling.

Too easy, it's between your air cleaner and the intake manifold. Disconnect the ducting and the battery and then unplug the old one. Plug the new one in and reverse the process.
