I had to take painkillers during my pregnancy with my son and they were written out by the doctor which said it was fine but i did not take alot. My son was healthy.

You can take 1 regular tylenol and unfortunetly..thats all. Sorry..i know it sucks. Im having pains and have been for the last like..week..and sadly...all i can take is crappy tylenol that doesnt do ANYTHING to help the pain.

Hopefully it will help you out though!!! You can try your doctor and see if they tell you something different though! Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!!!

ASK YOUR OB! they will tell you what OTC medications are safe during pregnancy. Taking anything thats unapproved is not worth the risk to your unborn child!

NO!!!!! The only thing that you should be taking is prenatal vitamins, unless your OB has prescribed something else. My ob said that's its okay to take Tylenol, but i would still ask if i were you. its better to be safe than sorry.

No. There are only two pain meds that I know of that can be taken while pregnant, and then it's only a do or die situation. Anything not given to you by your doctor can be deadly to the baby, so please don't take anything unless your doctor oks it.

Tylonol is best. I took extra strength tylonol with my first child. I have also taken Motrin IB and Advil if I did not have tylonol. Be sure to talk to your doctor first, every doc is different.

Oh and I talked to my doctor 2 minutes ago.

the risk must out-weigh the benifits and it would definitely be something you would have to discuss with your doctor.

otherwise, stick with the tylenol.
