I'm confused. Is this a trick question? George Jones doesn't belong in with the
Presidents. Ronald Reagan and George Washington were the Presidents.
George Jones was a singer. Now that we have history sorted out. What else do
you want to know. : }

No, the three greatest Americans are as follows; Billy Ray Cyrus, Conway Twitty, and Tammy Wynette. George Jones is a close fourth, or maybe even a fifth. The others aren't even on the list, just being Presidents and all, how can anyone be a great American unless they're a country music star?
YEEEEEEEE HAWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't imagine why you wanted to stick Ronald Reagan in there.???? He never did anything famous, or great. We're talking about "greatest Americans", which 'ol Reagan wasn't.
I'd say Will Rogers, Jimmie Carter, and Johnny Cash. Then, you would have a philosopher, a humanitarian, and a great singer.
(notice, I didn't say a president.???)

I think those are all great mean, but my top three would be different. I would say Abraham Lincoln. Obviously for freeing the slaves. Then, John Adams, for avoiding the French revolution which could of caused us to reach our end come the war of 1812. And , well i could think of several men who could be in that final slot, Martin Luther King, Benjamin Franklin... But I'll say James Madison. He assisted in creating the check and balance system, and fought the war of 1812. I mean he was a brilliant man.

That your sad little world makes no room for differing opinion reflects more on you and your parents/teachers than it does on any who might disagree. No doubt you think President Obama the greatest president of all time despite not having yet done much except receive a Nobel Prize for being elected.

nothing wrong with George Jones, but instead of him, let's try say, Teddy Roosevelt or Eisenhower? Oh yeah, cannot forget Johnny Cash or John Wayne.

George Jones?!?!!! THAT alcoholic wife-beater one of the greatest Americans in history?!?!!?!?! Sorry, no. The two Presidents you named get the nod, so two out of three ain't bad, but you need to find a better representative of country music to put in that third slot.

I don't know. Add Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, The Rock, & Nick Cage, and I'd be inclined to agree with you.
