If you litterally can't keep anything down, you need to talk to your doctor. You could get dehydrated. There are some newer treatments, usually I.V. that can help.

Hmmm... Pregnancy sickness is usually its worst between 6-12 weeks gestation, and then fades away (thank god.)
Stuff to try:
Don't eat and drink at the same time. Small sips of room-temp water when you can.
Sour tasting stuff-- I sucked on sour Jolly Rancher candy, it helped sometimes. Some women actually suck on (or just smell) lemon slices.
I hated saltines, and ate Carr's table water crackers, the plain ones are even milder.
I had to eat more than that, though-- so I tried my friend's suggestion of raw almonds. They have almost no smell, little taste, and give you protein. Raw, though, not roasted or salted.
I tried ginger tea, and it didn't work for me, although my best friend (preggers at the same time, 1st time) thought it was great.
Watermellon and cantalope, in small doses were good, too.
Now here's my concern:
If you aren't even keeping water down, call the clinic. Hyperemesis Gravidarum is what they call it when you take "pregnancy sickness" to the extreme, and getting your electrolites that outta wack is bad for both you and the baby. I've known two women who had to be hospitalized for IV fluids because of it. One ended up living on my couch for a while so I could take care of her during her first trimester. The anti-nausea meds they gave here did nothing, but the metaclopramide they gave her kept it from all coming back up, so she didn't get dehydrated and stopped losing weight.
Most women don't get that bad. Me, I just feel like heck for about two months, but get over it with a big sigh of relief.
Good luck-- think of it this way-- it really is only temporary! You don't stay pregnant forever!

I was right where you are about one week ago. I couldn't keep anything down for 3 days not even liquids. I was so scared. my mother told me that when she was pregnant it was recomended that she take B6 because morning sickness is attributed to a diffenciency in this vitamin. She had no more sickness throughout the rest of her 3 pregnancies. I wanted to hold off and ask my midwife, but decided to bite the bullet and take a B Complex right then. I took one B Complex vitamin and 30 mins later ate and kept down my first meal in 3 1/2 days.
If you don't feel comfortable I want to let you know that when I did go to my midwife she gave me some vitamins that were high in B6 and Folic Acid. She told me that B6 is very good at helping with morning sickness. Besides whatever portions your body doesn't need will be thrown off in your urine.
Good luck and I hope this helps

Try sipping Ginger Ale. I had a friend who could only keep milk shakes down. You should talk to your doctor if it doesn't get better. You don't want to end up in the hospital being treated for dehydration. The baby will take what it needs from you body, but you yourself need nourishment, too.

Oh that sucks. I didn't have that with my first pregnancy, but with the second (which was triplets), I was the same way.
The only thing I was able to keep down, believe it or not, was Carnation Instant Breakfast.
Eventually, though, the nausea went away and I was soon on my way to trying to eat as much as possible to feed the four of us.
Good luck.

Oh bless your heart! I had minimal sickness with my first pregnancy, but with this pregnancy (I am 8.5 months) I was sick up until month 6! I had a horrible time keeping anything down. I went to my doctor for several IVs to keep myself hydrated, and was given a prescription medication to take to eliminate nausea. Consult your doctor to ensure the baby is getting the proper nutrients, ask about medication for nausea, and keep as hydrated as possible (I had fainting spells due to dehydration so be careful). Best of luck to you!
