u can't stop gossip. there's been gossip since the dawn of time. the only thing u can do is be there 4 ur daughter. and if ur daughter keeps going 2 skool even though it may be the hardest days of her life. she'll make it. she can make it through tuesday, if she lasted monday.

er well, that is just how high school is. Everyone talks about everyone behind each other's backs. They say the most horrible things you can imagine. Once she's out of HS she can go on to college and there it is a different ball game.
I survived a rumor that I was dating 2 guys at once and that I got raped and was a preggo. It lasted 2 months but people eventually found someone else to spread rumors about.

Thats how highschool is. It stinks then you finally graduate and never have to see any of those people again. Just try to ignore it. SHe doesn't have to love the people she goes to school with. She just needs to stay strong and go in everyday and do what she needs to do to graduate.

Talk to the adults - teachers, administrators to get suggestions. It happens ALL the time - they are professionals & have seen it over and over. They'll have ideas on what to do.
